✨ Inquisitor

Overview

A Cleric Inquisitor ranged-caster DPS built around stacking DoTs and layering damage-taken debuffs, then detonating with Radical Coalescence into Aggressive Inquisition and Nysyr's Rebuke. Deep utility, interrupt, purge, knockback, fear, confuse, a 50m Rune of Return getaway, and AoE for flag/stone contests. A mobile, always-moving caster that ramps pressure before bursting. Rotation

Setup → burst → maintain. Rinse and repeat.

1. Open by tapping your Sanction Heretic macro twice. This casts Sanction plus Seal of Pain, and Sanction automatically applies Vex, so you land 3 DoTs on your target right away. Keep your DoTs up.

2. Use your Spam macro until both Inscribe Fate and Bolt of Light are cast. Each increases the damage your target takes by 15%. ALWAYS be moving while spamming so you never hardcast anything. Keep both of these up on your target(s) at all times.

3. Activate your Scourge macro for a 4th DoT on the target.

4. Follow with the Aggressive Inquisition macro, tap it twice so Fanaticism goes off first and Aggressive Inquisition critically hits.

5. Burst: tap Radical Coalescence once, use your Aggressive Inquisition macro, then go back to the Radical Coalescence macro to fire Nysyr's Rebuke. (Radical Coalescence makes Aggressive Inquisition hit very hard and passively boosts your DoT damage. You can keep these cooldowns on your bar separately if you prefer.)

6. After the setup and burst, maintain and refresh your buffs, debuffs, and DoTs. Sanction, Inscribe Fate, and Bolt of Light are the most important to keep up. The other DoTs add more damage on top.

That's the whole rotation, rinse and repeat.

Key Abilities

• Sanction Heretic (Legendary) Your opener. Cast twice via the macro to apply Sanction + Seal of Pain; Sanction auto-applies Vex, giving you 3 DoTs immediately. Keep it up.
• Inscribe Fate (Legendary) +15% damage taken on your target. One of your two priority debuffs. Keep it up at all times.
• Bolt of Light (Legendary) +15% damage taken on your target. Your second priority debuff. Keep it up alongside Inscribe Fate.
• Scourge Adds a 4th DoT to your target.
• Aggressive Inquisition Big hit. Tap the macro twice so Fanaticism goes off first and AI critically hits.
• Radical Coalescence (Legendary) Burst cooldown. Makes Aggressive Inquisition hit very hard and passively boosts your DoT damage.
• Nysyr's Rebuke Fires from the burst macro. Keep it on your bar so you can see when it's available.
• Excommunicate / Bewilder / Trepidation Your CC macro, interrupt, fear, and confuse to disorient targets. Use it to chain burst or to peel yourself out of trouble.
• Purge Removes 2 buffs from your target.
• Vapor Rush 30m charge. Your gap-closer.
• Spiritual Deficiency Debuff that increases non-physical damage taken by the target.
• Circle of Oblivion Ground-targeted AoE that also reveals stealthed enemies. Keep it handy to flush stealthers and to pressure grouped foes.
• Soul Drain AoE damage for multiple targets, great against enemies capturing a flag or grabbing stones.
• Judicial Privilege + Overload Speed escape: +50% movement speed (drops 10% per hit taken), and Overload deals damage back to attackers. A strong disengage; Planar options like the Lasher's Bane mirror work when everything else is on cooldown.
• Rune of Return 50m teleport. Set it in a safe spot BEFORE you engage, its generous range gives you a fast getaway when you're in a pinch.

Tips & Notes

• Always be moving while using the Spam macro so you never hardcast anything.
• Keep your priority debuffs up on the target at all times: Sanction, Inscribe Fate, and Bolt of Light matter most. The extra DoTs pile on more damage.
• Tap the Aggressive Inquisition macro twice so Fanaticism lands first and AI crits.
• Burst sequence: Radical Coalescence (tap once) → Aggressive Inquisition macro → back to the Radical Coalescence macro to fire Nysyr's Rebuke.
• Set Rune of Return in a safe spot before engaging, 50m range gives you a generous escape window.
• Inquisitor's toolkit (interrupt, purge, knockback, fear, confuse) can either help you burst a target down or get you out of a sticky situation. Use it at your discretion.
• AoE (Soul Drain, Circle of Oblivion) shines against grouped enemies on flags or stones; Circle of Oblivion also reveals stealthed players.
• L65 mastery Soul Stream is a self-heal channel, not the strongest heal or damage, but the survivability is worth it.
• K-Alerts: set alerts to track your main DoTs and debuffs (Sanction, Inscribe Fate, Bolt of Light). A ready-made K-Alert import string is posted in this build's Discord thread.
