How do Warfronts work in RIFT MMO?
Warfronts are RIFT's instanced PvP battlegrounds where Guardian and Defiant players compete for objectives. They range from small 5v5 arenas to large 20v20 maps. Prestige is earned by participating and winning, and is used to purchase PvP gear. The most competitive RIFT PvP happens in Warfronts.
What calling is best for PvP in RIFT?
All five callings, Warrior, Rogue, Mage, Cleric, and Primalist, are viable in RIFT PvP Warfronts. Warriors (Warlord, Riftblade) and Rogues (Bladedancer) dominate kill rankings, while Clerics are essential for support and healing. The best calling depends on your preferred playstyle and your group composition.

When do RIFT servers restart?
RIFT servers restart every Wednesday at 4:00 AM Pacific Time (6:00 AM CT · 7:00 AM ET · 11:00 UTC). Plan your play sessions around this window to avoid being kicked mid-Warfront.
Is RIFT still active in 2026?
Yes. RIFT MMO is still online and operated by Gamigo. The RIFT PvP community remains active with regular Warfront queues, especially on weekends. Join our Discord server to find active PvP players and get Warfront groups going.
