Farseer

Overview

A Primalist Farseer healer/support spec (31 Farseer / 8 Preserver) built around keeping Soul Shroud and your Fate buffs rolling for constant team-wide healing, with strong single-target saves through Prescience and emergency overheal cooldowns. This is a priority healer, not a fixed rotation, you're always casting the most important thing available, not looping a set order. The exact tree is on the Magelo link below.

Rotation

You press abilities in order of priority, always cast the highest priority that's available:

1. Keep your 100-Cunning Soul Shroud up at all times. Cast it at 100 Cunning to maximize how much it heals. This needs to be up constantly, a cast-tracking addon (Kalert) helps immensely with keeping it rolling.

2. Fortune's Protection. Use the macro so the correct Fate buff is always applied. Do NOT cast it with only 1 Soul Shard remaining, or it won't benefit from the bonus Fate healing.

3. Keep Premeditation up on everyone when you have free globals. It does decent healing and amplifies the healing they take from you.

4. Cast Prescience. It takes care of itself as long as the person you cast it on stays alive.

5. Cast Essence Strike on enemies once everything else is handled.

6. Fill your remaining globals with generic healing spells when everything else is on cooldown, Deluge, Nurture, Cultivate, or cleanses are all fine.

7. Use cooldowns to save people who are critically low. This will usually only save one person. Pop Oversoul + Spirit Sight and Reliquary + Warmonger's heal WHILE YOU ARE AT FULL HEALTH. The combo works by overhealing, so it specifically requires you to be topped off. You can also use a regular healing potion, but it won't fire unless you're genuinely at 100% HP, so you'll need to take a little damage from something first.

Key Abilities

  • Soul Shroud Priority #1. Cast at 100 Cunning to maximize its healing, and keep it up 100% of the time. The macro empowers it and applies Delayed Fate. A cast-tracking addon (Kalert) makes maintaining it far easier.
  • Fortune's Protection Priority #2. Use the macro so the correct Fate buff (Impending Fate / Thread of Fate) is always applied. Never cast it with only 1 Soul Shard left. You lose the bonus Fate healing.
  • Premeditation Priority #3. Keep it up on everyone when you have spare globals. Decent healing, and it amplifies the healing targets take from you.
  • Prescience Priority #4. Self-sustaining. Once cast it keeps working as long as the target stays alive.
  • Essence Strike Priority #5. Your damage filler. Cast it on enemies once your healing is handled.
  • Deluge / Nurture / Cultivate Priority #6. Generic heal fillers (plus cleanses) for spare globals when your priority spells are on cooldown.
  • Oversoul + Spirit Sight Emergency save cooldown (use the macro). Must be popped at FULL health. It saves via overheal, so you have to be topped off for it to work.
  • Reliquary + Warmonger's Heal Second emergency save combo. Same rule. Pop it at full HP so the overheal lands. Usually only saves one person.
  • Inner Peace Self-cast utility (macro provided) to keep yourself stable under pressure.

Tips & Notes

  • Cast Soul Shroud at exactly 100 Cunning for maximum healing, and keep it up at all times, a cast-tracking addon like Kalert helps enormously.
  • Never cast Fortune's Protection with only 1 Soul Shard remaining. It won't get the bonus Fate healing.
  • The big save combos (Oversoul + Spirit Sight, Reliquary + Warmonger's heal) MUST be used at full health. They work by overhealing, so being topped off is required for them to save anyone.
  • A healing potion won't cast while you're at 100% HP, if you need it in an emergency, take a little chip damage first so it'll fire.
  • This is a priority healer: cast the highest-priority available spell each global rather than following a fixed loop.
